Brief
Final Form Martial Arts (FFMA) is known for its inclusive community dynamic - a diverse space where gym members are treated equally, regardless of skill or gender. While known for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, FFMA also offers other types of classes.
Solution
This logo represents the FFMA community as more than the hyper-masculine stereotype that is linked with BJJ. While being visually bold and striking, care was taken to avoid any aggressiveness or forcefulness in the design. Instead, male and female characters are depicted through their posture and expression as both physically and mentally strong. The logo was designed to fit its most prominent use - the circular front patch of a BJJ Gi. The additional icon suite covers any other needs.
