NR Personal Branding Updates
Brief
I decided to update my personal branding to go along with the creation of my new portfolio website. The main goal was to soften and mature the look and feel, while still incorporating parts of the old brand. This meant a full overhaul of my existing templates and collateral for a rollout across digital and print mediums.
Solution
To achieve this, the colour palette was adjusted from a harsh black and white to a gentler ocean blue and sandy-white combo. The script font used in the logo adds a personal, handmade feel, though the use of Agenda as the main typeface remains consistent from the previous brand. The skull character has also stuck around, albeit in a reduced capacity. Instead of being imposing and bold, the icon is now playfully tacked onto the end of the logo and can even be removed entirely for a more professional feel. The continuity of the cheeky character represents the kind of exciting, adventurous brands I want to create, while the overall feel reflects the relaxed coastal area I live in.
The result is a refreshing evolution which builds and improves on my visual identity.
