DESCRIPTION
This project started as a proportion study of the human face. It's an elaboration on measuring out proportions- but instead of using them just for a sketch, they are fundamental to the final piece. Using simple geometric shapes, I started measuring out heads, and then extended the exercise to give each face a bit of personality. In addition to this, I also used each head as a way to work on colour relationships and create a series that works together colour-wise, yet is unique and detailed when viewed individually.
